The exports of Haft Tappeh pulp to 12 foreign countries

The CEO of Haft Tappeh Pars Paper Industries Group announced the export of pulp produced by this company to 12 foreign countries, including some European countries, and said, “This product, which is produced from sugarcane bagasse, has been welcomed by different countries due to its high quality.

In an interview with IRNA on Friday, Seyed Abdullah Moazeni stated, “Since 2019, more than $ 21,000 worth of paper pulp of Pars Haft Tappeh Paper Industries Group has been exported to China, India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Colombia, Iraq and Afghanistan. “Stating that 70% of the pulp has been exported to China, India and Vietnam, he said, “Due to the good reception of our pulp in different countries, Pars Haft Tappeh Paper Industries Group has aimed to increase its production and exports for the year 2022-23.”Explaining the paper production of this company from bagasse or sugarcane residue, Eng. Moazeni said, “Pars Haft Tappeh Paper Industries Group is the only paper production factory from sugarcane pulp in the Middle East whose product has been welcomed by different countries.”He said, “Currently, 140 tons of white and brown paper pulp is produced in the company every day and night, and an increase of 20 tons is targeted and planned for next year.”Stating that the annual production of this company, including all kinds of paper and pulp, is 66,000 tons, the CEO of Haft Tappeh Paper Industries Group said, “For next Iranian year, an increase of 9,000 tons of paper and pulp production in this company is targeted.”The attempt to localize the anti-oil chemicalPointing to the attempt made to localize the anti-oil material used in the production of disposable cellulose containers produced by Pars Tabiat Cellulose Company, the CEO of Pars Haft Tappeh Paper Industries Group said, “To localize the production of this chemical, the production of which is monopolized by three countries of the United States, Japan and Austria, we have negotiated with a domestic knowledge-based company.”Moazani said, “This material has a high consumption in the production of disposable cellulose containers, which with the efforts of the company’s engineers and experts, its consumption has now been reduced from eight percent to one percent, while we are planning to localize its production.”Aiming for a 100% increase in fluting paper productionFurther referring to the plan to increase the production of fluting paper in the company by 100%, he said, “Currently, 100 tons of fluting paper pulp used in carton production is produced daily in the OTC unit of this company. This figure will increase to 200 tons per day next year. “Damage of four thousand tons because of power outage to Pars Haft Tappeh paper factoryFurther referring to the damage caused to this company due to power outages this summer, the CEO of Pars Haft Tappeh Paper Industries Group said, “The blackout of electricity damaged as many as 4,000 tons the paper production of this factory, so in order to prevent further possible damage in the coming summer, the company plans to launch a 6-megawatt small-scale power plant and has purchased three diesel generators.”Pursuing workers’ demands in Haft Tappeh Pars paperEmphasizing on following up the demands of the workers’ rights working in this company, Eng. Moazeni said, “Since the implementation of the job classification plan is one of the demands of the workers working in this production unit, the contractors who are responsible for these workers’ rights have been asked to Implement the job classification plan for their employees as soon as possible in accordance with the legal regulations, and in this regard, the company has given the mentioned contractors a deadline to take the necessary actions as soon as possible.”He said, “The job classification plan is a legal requirement that Pars Paper Industries Group follows and pays the financial cost of its implementation.”Referring to the formation of the Islamic Labor Council as a prelude to the implementation of the job classification plan in this company, Mr. Moazeni pointed to the presence of a number of employees of this company in Friday prayers today to follow up on their demands and stated that the Friday Imam’s recommendations are unquestionable for all, he said, “The presence of the employees of this company in the Friday prayer ritual of Shush today and announcing their demands to the Friday Imam of this city is a worthy measure to prevent the opposition media from abusing their economic demands.” He also emphasized on pursuing the workers’ economic demands and said, “This company has handed over a part of its activities to contractors for more than twenty years, so a number of its employees have also have agreements with the contractors. Of course, our company closely monitors and supervises the performance of contractors so that workers’ rights are not violated.”The CEO of Pars Paper Industries Group said, “A number of employees who have had a contract with a contractor since the beginning of their work in this company, and the contractor has concluded a contract with them in accordance with the company’s needs, have nearly 20 years of experience. If the contractor responsible for them should change, they will continue to work despite of the contractor change.Regarding the assignment of a part of the company’s activities to private sector contractors, he said, “The reason for the assignment of some activities to contractors is their machinery and equipment that Pars Paper Company does not have.”The increase in the production capacity of environmentally friendly disposable tablewareThe CEO of Pars Tabiat Cellulose Company, the only producer of environmentally friendly disposable containers from sugarcane bagasse in the Middle East, also said, “For the first time in the country, a project to produce cellulose materials, which is one of the largest factories of these type of products in the world by using sugarcane pulp in the city Susa, was launched.”Dr. Ghasem Fadai continued, “The dishes and tableware produced in Pars Tabiat Cellulose Company are the only disposable containers in the country that can be decomposed, while can be used and have no harm to the consumer in the temperature of + 200 degrees Celsius of microwave ovens as well as  at the temperature of – 20 degrees Celsius.”He pointed to the development and increase of production in Pars Tabiat Cellulose Company with the arrival of new purchased machines and said, “Four new production lines have been purchased for this company to increase production capacity and employment, which have been transferred to this company and is expected to be installed later this year.”Dr. Fadaei stated that the current capacity of the company is 12,000 tons of environmentally friendly disposable tableware per year and said, “It is planned to increase this capacity to 16,000 tons.”He described the company’s development vision as the production of 60,000 tons of biodegradable disposable cellulose containers per year and said, “With the planning done next year, the production of disposable containers in Pars Tabiat Cellulose Company will increase to 600 million pieces per year.” Pars Paper Industries Group in SUSA city, the first and largest company for the production of pulp, printing and writing paper and packaging paper, started its activities in 1970.”Pars Haft Tappeh Paper Industries Group produces different types of fluting paper for the consumption of carton making, white paper, pulp for tissues, disposable tableware, different types of packaging paper and sanitary paper used in food and pharmaceutical industries, colored paper for writing and office use as well as Kraft paper.This company is located 20 km from SUSA city in the north of Khuzestan.
