The CEO of the Sugarcane Development & Ancillary Industries Co. announced the production forecast of over 600 thousand tons of sugar by the end of harvest in Khuzestan sugarcane field.
At the launching ceremony of the paper impregnation production line of the MDF factory of Loh-e-Sabz-e-Jonoob Company on January 13, Abdul Ali Naseri stated, “In order to complete the cycle of ancillary industries of the great Sugarcane Industry, the paper impregnation production line of the MDF factory of Loh-e-Sabz-e-Jonoob Company was launched by using the machinery and the technology with a daily production capacity of 12,000 sheets, which is twice as much as the production capacity of the company.”
According to ISNA, referring to the effects of launching this line, he added, “This production line will have many economic effects on the downstream cycle of sugarcane development, and in addition to employing 25 people directly and more than 10 people indirectly, it accounts for 33% of sur[;us value of the MDF production from sugarcane bagasse.”
The CEO of the Sugarcane Development and Ancillary Industries Company stated, ” The protection of national resources, economic development, job creation and prevention of currency outflow are among the goals of the Sugarcane Development and Ancillary Industries Company in completing the chain of the sugarcane ancillary industries.”
Stating that the MDF production industry from sugarcane bagasse has an important role and impact on self-sufficiency and preventing the outflow of currency, he said, “In addition to preventing the outflow of foreign exchange, the production of MDF from sugarcane bagasse helps to protect forests. Preventing pollution and environmental damage caused by bagasse self-heating, creating direct and indirect employment, positive economic and social effects on the region and creating surplus value in the process of MDF production from bagasse raw material, are other benefits of MDF production from sugarcane bagasse.”
Referring to the re-harvesting of sugarcane in the seven agro-industries after rain and reduction of humidity in sugarcane fields, the CEO of Sugarcane Development and Ancillary Industries Company, said: “Since the beginning of sugarcane harvest, more than 200 thousand tons of sugar in sugar factories of Sugarcane Development Company is produced.”
Naseri added, “With the decrease in the humidity of sugarcane fields, sugarcane harvesting operations have started in the seven sugarcane development industries, and for the first time in the history of sugarcane development, a record daily harvest of more than 8,000 tons of sugarcane was set in agriculture and industries.”
He said, “The overhaul of sugar factories this summer, the proper growth of sugarcane and the efforts of all personnel promise a fruitful crop year for the Sugarcane Development Company and Ancillary Industries. It is expected the sugarcane harvest to be completed by the early-April next year, and more than 600,000 Tons of sugar to be produced, which is about twice as much as the production in the last two years.”
