The registration of Rial sales information to Iraq and Afghanistan until June 21, 2021

According to the  Khuzestan Center of IRIB  News Agency , the Secretary General of the Chamber of Commerce of Ahvaz said, "According to the clause 1 section A of political package of returning the foreign currency originated from the exports from 2018 to 2021, the exporters who sold their exported goods in Rials to Iraq and Afghanistan in the period from April 11, 2018 to August 7, 2018 and have not registered their Rial sales information in the comprehensive trade system in due time, will have the chance until June 21 of this year to meet their foreign exchange obligations simply by registering their Rial sales information in the comprehensive trading system."

Mohammad Najafian added, "The fulfillment of foreign exchange obligations of this group of exporters has nothing to do with tax exemption and VAT refund, and they will not be subject to enjoying the zero tax rate and VAT refund."
He said, "A significant part of Khuzestani merchants have trade activities with Iraq; and therefore, in order to meet their foreign exchange obligations, they have to register their Rial sales information to Iraq in the comprehensive trade system on the announced date".
Najafian added, "In the coming days, the necessary infrastructure for recording Rial sales information will be provided by the E-Commerce Development Center, and the exporters will be able to register their Rial sales information to Iraq and Afghanistan."
 

 

In order to meet their foreign exchange obligations, Khuzestan exporters to Iraq and Afghanistan must register their Rial sales information in the comprehensive trading system by the 21st of June
