The Maragheh entrepreneur has directly created jobs for 15 people by recycling waste paper.

According to the IRIB News Agency, the center of East Azerbaijan, Mr. Hossein Hadi said, “The paper recycling unit annually turns 400 tons of waste paper, books and notebooks of students into shredded paper.”

He added, “20% of the shredded paper needed for Maragheh and other cities in the region for fruit packaging is supplied annually through this workshop.”

The entrepreneur added, “Collecting waste paper and producing shredded paper in this workshop has created jobs for 15 people directly and 25 people indirectly.”

Hadi said, “This unit is the largest center for collecting and recycling waste paper and producing fruit packaging shredded paper in the region, and a part of the shredded paper produced by this workshop is sent to the cities of Urmia, Miandoab and Azarshahr for fruit packaging.”

He continued, “With the workshop that is under construction, if a license is issued, we will increase the employment rate to 200 people.”

Maragheh is the pole of fruit production in East Azerbaijan and hundreds of tons of shredded paper are used for the packaging of apples in this city every year.”
