Special orders of the first vice president to solve the paper problem, the allocation of $ 40 million in one month to remove obstacles

The Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance announced the allocation of $ 40 million for the import of printing paper and newsprint and said, “Within the next month, the necessary orders will be issued by the First Vice President to solve the problems of paper making mills.”

In an interview with Tasnim News Agency’s cultural correspondent, reporting that a meeting was held with the First Vice President on the subject of paper, Yaser Ahmadvand, the Deputy Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said, ” $40 million will be allocated by the government to the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance for the import of printing paper and newsprint.”

He continued, ” $ 20 million will be allocated for the import of printing paper and $ 20 million for the import of newsprint to meet the immediate needs of publishers and the press,  this amount will be provided with us soon to start importing.”

Ahmadvand specified, “Moreover, an important decision was made to increase the domestic production of paper making mills, according to which the obstacles to production will be removed.” In this regard, a committee consisting of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, the Ministry of Islamic Guidance, the Ministry of Jihad for Agriculture, and the Central Bank has been formed to solve the existing problems of domestic factories. Within the next two weeks, the committee will identify the existing obstacles and present them to the First Vice President for instructions to address these issues.”

He said, “a paper working group has been formed in the cultural deputy, which has visited domestic production factories during the past month and has prepared a comprehensive and accurate report on the current production situation in a conversation with the managers of these factories. Government’s determination to solve problems domestic production is serious, and the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade is involved well in this issue. With the cooperation of various government departments, we will soon see an increase in the production of domestic factories.”
