The executive director of Imidro Mines Renovation, Activation and Development Project said, “The factory of producing paper from limestone of Aligudarz city will be set up this year with a capacity of 10,000 tons and the employment of 35 people.”

According to IRNA, on Friday, Seyed Reza Azimi told reporters during a visit to the project of producing paper from limestone, “Various industries can be built downstream of this factory to produce various products, including normal envelops and cement will be of very high quality due to the high percentage of Calcium carbonate.”He stated, “The annual required domestic paper is more than 6 million tons, and the Aligudarz factory of producing paper from limestone has a very suitable and good capacity in this regard. Despite the huge calcium carbonate mines in the city, other investors can work in this field.” The head of Lorestan Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development & Renovation Organization also said, “Imidro (Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization) as one of the development organizations of the ministry has taken a good step in this area with capacity measurement in industry and mining and construction of paper making from limestone factory in Aligudarz.”Behzad Mansouri stated, “The paper production from limestone plant of Aligudarz is one of the best projects in the field of industries, and we hope to see the start of the project this year as per the schedule.”He said, “With the follow-up of Aligudarz representative in the Islamic Consultative Parliament and the special efforts of Imidro managers, equipment and machinery for launching this important industrial project have been purchased and will enter the country within the next three months.”Mashallah Nemati, the governor of Aligudarz in this site visit, also mentioned the existence of the necessary infrastructure for investment in this city and said, “Considering the capacity of the mining sector, the necessary grounds are provided for investors to enter Aligudarz.”
