With the annual production of 4,000 tons of filter paper, $ 10 million of foreign currency will be prevented from leaving the country.

According to the Arak Center of the IRIB News Agency, Fath Ali Khani, the CEO of Danesh Bonyan Filter Paper Production Company in Farahan, said, “Due to different technology compared to paper production and high accuracy and the need for high air passage, the production of this product was available to only seven countries in the world. In Asia, only South Korea and China were producing it.”Fath Ali Khani said, “Enjoying the ability of industrial experts and the University of Machinery and Technology, filter paper production is localized in this company, and 10,000 tons of products are produced annually.”Stating that they supply the needs of 400 small and large industrial units producing filters in the country, the CEO of this knowledge-based company said, “Filter paper is widely used in automotive, industrial filters, refineries and power plants.”Fath Ali Khani added, “The allocation of preferential currency and the import of filter paper have caused this knowledge-based industrial unit to operate with only 40% of its capacity, while this product is widely used and widely consumed in the country.”The CEO of Danesh Bonyan Filter Manufacturing Company said, “The products has national and international standards and is at least 30% cheaper than the foreign substitutes. By eliminating the cost of international shipping and other imports formalities, domestic products will be up to 50% cheaper than imported ones for downstream consuming companies.”
