The Deputy Minister of Industry Affairs of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, referring to the examination of obstacles facing the cellulose industries, announced the adoption of measures to accelerate the supply of raw materials for this industry.
According to IRIB quoting the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, in a meeting that was attended by representatives of the Association of Cellulose Industries and a number of manufacturers of tissue and cellulose products, Mr. Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki said, “Tissue production units are required to announce the production and distribution of these raw materials required by the cellulose industry to the Organization of Supporting Manufacturers and Consumers on a daily basis.”
He added, “Due to the concerns of cellulose industry producers, the raw material distribution system will be monitored with the cooperation of the Organization of Supporting Manufacturers and Consumers, and tissue producers should report their production and distribution to the provincial organizations of Industry, Mine and Trade and the Organization of Supporting Manufacturers and Consumers.”
Sadeghi Niaraki said, “By continuously monitoring the distribution of this product, any abuse will be prevented, and producers can supply their raw materials without worries.”
Moreover, in this meeting, the producers of cellulose industries addressed the challenges facing this industry and demanded the cooperation of tissue manufacturers with upstream industries.
Proper pricing of cellulose products, especially tissue (tissue paper is the same as tissue before cutting) and the continuous supply of these raw materials to units of producing cellulose products were among the most important concerns of industrialists of this sector, for which decisions were made, and executive solutions were put on the agenda.
