The 20% reduction in paper production in Pars Paper Making Company

The CEO of Haft Tappeh Pars Paper Industries Group announced a 20% decrease in paper production in this company due to power outages in July and August of this year.

According to the Khuzestan Center of IRIB, Seyed Abdullah Moazeni stated that the production of 32,376 tons of paper with an acceptable standard was achieved in Pars Paper MakingCompany in the first 6 months of this year and continued, ” Naturally, our company, like other production units, is affected by the country’s economic conditions of rising prices, inflation and shortages, so that blackouts due to electricity shortages have impacted production.

Stating that the amount of paper production during 1399 was 60,103 tons, he added, ” Pars Paper MakingCompany provides about 10% of the domestic market needs for various types of packaging papers.”

Moazani said, “Currently, more than 1,300 people are directly employed and more than 7,000 people are indirectly employed in this company.”

Regarding the supply of raw materials for paper production, the CEO of Haft Tappeh Paper Making Industries Group Company said, “Considering that the products are produced using the dry pulpy fibrous material after crushing sugarcane or bagasse and that these materials are available in large quantities, the drought did not have much effect on production and did not disrupt activities and production.”
