The issuance of standard certificate of a handicraft workshop in Qazvin for the first time

The Qazvin Deputy of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Industries said, “A handicraft workshop in Qazvin received a standard product certificate for the first time.”

According to the Qazvin Center of IRIB News Agency, Seyed Meysam Hesari, the Qazvin Deputy of Handicrafts and Traditional Arts Industries, said, “A handicraft workshop in the field of traditional paper making succeeded in receiving a standard product certificate for the first time in the province.”Hessari pointed out, “Zarrin Ghalam Emad Knowledge Based Company, under the management of Hooman Baba Oladi, was able to receive the standard product certificate in the field of production of artistic starch papers by the use of vegetable seeds starch” as the first handicraft workshop in the province.” He added, “This certificate is in line with the conformity of goods including traditional handmade and industrial cellulosic coated papers for calligraphy, gilding, painting and gilding, painting flower and birds with the processes performed including antibacterial tests, determination of neutral pH and acidity, the percentage of moisture content, stability against heat, water permeability resistance on the surface of the paper, roughness, tensile strength, resistance against folding, optical properties and ink interaction and has been issued by the National Standard Organization for presentation to real and legal customers.”Hesari stated, “One of the advantages of receiving this certificate is to facilitate the process of receiving the national standard mark, entering the global trade market and receiving the ISO standard. We hope that we can increase the quality, commercialization and export of this product with the cooperation of relevant agencies and their support of domestic producers so that we can take an effective step towards the prosperity of native disciplines.”
