According to the Cabinet Information Base quoting SHATA News Agency, in a symposium with the Association of Carton, Packaging and Print Industry, Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki , referring to the key role of this industry in all industries, emphasized on improving the situation of this industry and asked for the acceleration of supplying the required raw materials of the industry.

The Deputy Minister of Industrial Affairs mentioned the monitoring of the production process of strategic industries as one of the main policies of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade and said, ” Completing the value chain in the paper industry as one of the advantageous industries in the country should be considered more than before, and we are trying to provide some of the raw materials needed by the producers of this sector by taking advantage of domestic potentials.”

Sadeghi Niaraki, referring to the need for the cooperation of other organizations related to this industry, said, “During the meeting that will be held with the presence of relevant officials and specialized associations of the industry, the solutions for supplying raw materials needed to produce cartons with the presence of related organizations will be discussed and the required decisions will be made.”

It is worth mentioning that the carton making, packaging and printing industry is facing problems due to the pandemic of corona disease in terms of access to raw materials consisting of paper waste, and this issue has made the production process of the industry to be faced many challenges. These issues will be discussed in periodic meetings with representatives of specialized organizations in the paper, cardboard and carton industries.
