The resume of Mr. Eng. Tahmasbi, the new managing director of Cooperative Company of the Association of Carton and Corrugated Sheet Executives

Mr. Rassoul Tahmasbi, who was born in Tehran in 1959, started his higher education in business administration at Business School in 1977 after getting his diploma from high school. However, due to his personal interest and the possibility to take advantage of the modern technology and experience of developed countries, he decided to continue his higher education abroad, so in 1982 after getting his admission from the Vienna University of Technology, he went to Austria and studied in computer software engineering.

After his education, he started working for Bau-Max Headquarters in Vienna, Austria, but because of his personal interest and talent in commercial affairs, he was appointed as the business expert with plenty of attempts and after persuading the senior managers of the company gradually to agree with his wish, and eventually he was chosen as the commercial manager after a few months. While he was working there, he took different courses, including purchase psychology, sales psychology, the research in operations. Finally, after 10 years of valuable experience and successful activities, he returned to Iran in 1999 and started his activities at his homeland.

Since his arrival in Iran, his responsibilities have been as follows:

1. The commercial manager of United Chemical Co., the affiliated company to Melli Industrial Group, which is the main supplier of raw materials and machinery for all the affiated factories to Melli Industrial Group. As a result of Mr. Tahmasbi’s successful presence in the company, they could have the representation of Argolanda Co. from Netherland and S-E-B Co. from Italy as wells as the presence of the products of manufacturing companies of the Melli Industrial Group on the markets of Africa, Russia, and Middle East for the first time.
2. In 2002. He worked as the commercial manager of the national project of Maragheh Paper Making Mill. He has presented a very successful record in launching the project by making the project operational in the fields of purchasing and supplying foreign and domestic machinery and raw materials since the beginning of the project.
3. In 2005, after the completion of Maragheh Paper Project, Mr. Tahmasbi joined Pars Khazar Co. as the commercial manager. However, due to the activities of the company in Rasht and its far distance from Tehran, and his cooperation with Majd Co., the affiliated company to Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, as the commercial consultant, he worked for Majd and Par Khazar Companies for a short time.
4. Since 2005, Mr. Rassoul Tahmasbi joined Urmieh Sugar Co. as the commercial manager with plenty of valuable commercial domestic and foreign experiences. His executive potential and working ability have been so high that he has taken on the simultaneous commercial responsibility for another affiliated company of Shahd Developing Industrial Group called Shahd Public Stock Co. and the sales manager of Urmieh Golfam Co.
5. Since, 2012, he has been the CEO of Partak Trading Co. and gave remarkable services in that company.
6. Since 2014, he has been the managing director of the Cooperative Company of the Association of Carton and Corrugated Sheet Executives
