As per the statistics released by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, the paper production reached 323 thousand and 700 tons by the end of July which shows an increase of 4.1% compared to the similar period last year.
In the first fourth months last year, 311 thousand of paper was produced in the country last year.
Based on the statistics, in the same period, the carton production reached 251 thousand and 800 tons which indicates a 53.3 % growth compared to the similar period last year.
During this period, chipboard production increased by 27% at 235 thousand and 200 cubic meters, and fiberboard production with 607% increase reached 359 thousand and 8600 cubic meters.
