In a joint meeting with the Syndicate of Paper and Cardboard Manufacturers, the Industrial Affair Deputy of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and trade while both discussing the challenges facing the industry and announcing the pursuit of accelerating the supply of raw materials needed by the sector, said,” There is no restriction on the import of raw materials for industrialists if they cannot be produced domestically.”

According to ILNA, Mehdi Sadeghi Niaraki described the import management as one of the most important programs of the Ministry of Industry, Mine and trade this year and said, “Importing similar domestic products in case of their production in the country faces restrictions as per the amount of domestic consumption so that the imports of more than 1,500 tariff rows were banned.”

Regarding the allocation of foreign exchange needed to import the raw materials needed by the paper and cardboard industry, the Deputy Minister of Industry Affairs of the Ministry of Silence explained: Industrial action.
