Vietnamese paper export to China skyrockets in 11 months: Vietnamese customs

HANOI, Vietnam exported 105.7 million U.S. dollars worth of paper and paper-based products to China in the first 11 months of this year, up 27.5 times against the same period last year, the General Department of Vietnam Customs said on Wednesday.
In the 11-month period, Vietnam made total paper and paper product export turnovers of 673.4 million U.S. dollars, up 46.9 percent on-year, with the biggest export market being China, followed by the United States and Japan.

Specifically, Vietnam exported 80.6 million U.S. dollars worth of paper and paper products to the United States, down 0.5 percent, and roughly 80 million U.S. dollars worth of paper and paper products to Japan, down 2.4 percent.

Vietnamese paper and paper-based products are now available in 17 countries and regions, said the general department.
