Iran’s exports to the European Union have exceeded 7 billion Euros.

The EU’s imports from Iran increased by 107% in the first nine months of this year compared with the similar period of last year and reached 7.252 billion Euros.

According to economic correspondent of Tasnim News Agency, the News Agency of the European Commission reported a 62 percent increase in trade between the European Union and Iran in the first nine months of this year.

The trade between Iran and European Union, which amounted to 9,101 billion Euros from January to September 2016, rose to 14.782 billion Euros in the same period this year.

The increase in European imports from Iran following the resumption of purchasing oil from Iran after the nuclear agreement has played a significant role in the growth of bilateral trade.

The EU member states imported 3.498 billion Euros of goods from Iran in the first nine months of 2016 which has had a growth of 107% in the first nine months of this year and reached 7.252 billion Euros.

According to this report, the EU’s exports to Iran has also had an increase of 34% in the first nine months of this year and reached 7.53 billion Euros. The European Union exported goods amounting to 5.603 billion Euros in the first nine months of 2016.

The balance of trade between the two sides amounted to 278 million Euros in favor of the European Union.
