The talks by the Secretary of the Association of Managers of Carton and Corrugated Sheet Industries on the packaging problems

Mr. Eng. Tahmasebi, the Secretary of the Association of Managers of Carton and Corrugated Sheet Industries, regarding the problems of the packaging industry, mentioned the following cases:

The main problems of our industry are domestic, when we go back to the 21st of March, 2018, the Supreme Leader called this year as “the support for Iranian goods”.

In that year, the support for Iranian goods and the fulfillment of the slogan of the year should have involved three sections of the society.

The first section was the producers who were obliged to provide quality products.

The second one was the consumers and the people who had to create a culture to buy and strengthen the domestic production.

The third one was the officials and government officials who had to support the domestic producers by any means.

Unfortunately, in the meantime, although most domestic producers responded to the Supreme Leader’s instructions and got ready to produce and meet the needs of the market, they have not been properly supported by the authorities, and some are still facing serious problems, too.

Since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, we have always been economically under the pressure of foreign sanctions, and the purpose of these sanctions has been to affect the internal conditions for the sinister and political goals of the enemies.

However, I think we should look at the issue of sanctions from another perspective, so I believe that the main problems of industry in our country are domestic.

Therefore, we must take domestic measures in order to solve economic challenges and problems. In fact, many economic problems have nothing to do with overseas.

I think our country is facing self-imposed sanctions in the current situation, and some of us have used international sanctions as an excuse to justify domestic sanctions.

If the banking, customs, insurance and asset problems created for the production units are solved, we will find that only a low percentage of the problems are affected by foreign sanctions.

Therefore, we must first think of a solution for the domestic self-sanctions.

For example, in our packaging industry, have we been in charge of forming a group of elites, economists, and knowledge-based companies in that we collectively think about an initiative measure in a neutral way, regardless of the personal interests of one person or group, or do we want a more ambiguous condition so that we can have personal use with wrong thoughts and take the selfish advantage of the innocent people of the society?

Have the pioneers of this industry ever taken action to resolve the issue in a way that does not financially harm another manufacturer or just by justifying why others do the same, so I will do this way so that I do not suffer financially and care my own business?

Our country’s industry is shouting, “Who is the one that can assist me?”

It is worth stating here that anyone can test themselves. With what thoughts would those who mourn in the months of Muharram, if they were now in Karbala, want to support the religion of Islam against the infidels?

More will be presented in the coming days.

Tahmasebi
